Chalky Finish is a water-based chalk paint and gives your objects an ultra-matt and velvety surface that wraps your home in a homely atmosphere and leaves plenty of room for cocooning. …and how is it done? You can apply Chalky to surfaces such as wood, metal, ceramics, papier-mâché, plastic, home textiles or on a wall. The paint is easy to spread and has a very high covering power due to the enormous chalk content. To seal, use cream wax indoors and a clear varnish outdoors – neither of these change the unique chalky look. If one coat of paint isn’t enough for you, there are no limits to your creativity: whether with stencils, sanding techniques, a craquelure medium for surfaces with a cracked look or with a two-color technique (wet or dry) – you’re free to do so unfold. One can is enough for an area of approximately 2.78 m².
